Components of fuses

  1. Melt: (also known as fuse or melt)

The core part of a fuse, consisting of a low melting point alloy wire, silver wire, or 99.99% silver sheet, is used to achieve melting, cut off current, and provide segmented protection.

  1. Electrode, also known as (end cap, copper cap, copper head, contact blade, contact, electrode)

It is mainly used to connect components between molten metal and circuits, requiring good conductivity and heat dissipation to ensure effective connection.

  1. Filler (high silica sand)

Mainly used for integrating the melt into the shell and extinguishing arcs under strong current and voltage

  1. Bracket (shell) glass and ceramic:

Used to fix the melt and electrode, combining them into a whole for easy installation and use, and providing mechanical strength and insulation
