Mechanical Dimension

Square‑body compact construction. Overall dimension 95±1.5 mm ×74±1.5 mm. Bolt‑type terminal connection. Recommended installation torque:11.0±1.0 N·m. Tin‑plated contact terminals. Please check dimension drawing for full mechanical specifications.

Derating & Installation Instructions

  • Recommended continuous operating current ≤ 75% of fuse rated‑current under standard‑5℃~40℃ ambient environment.
  • For ambient temperature above 40℃, apply temperature‑derating factor Kt. For closed‑cabinet installation at altitude 2000‑4500 m, apply altitude‑derating Ka: derate 2‑5% per 1000‑meter elevation; open‑air deployment normally ignores altitude‑derating.
  • Support vertical, horizontal and inclined mounting. Avoid gravity and vibration side‑effects for spring‑contact structures.
  • Terminal contact resistance shall be kept low to prevent extra over‑heating and power‑loss rise; strictly follow 11.0±1.0 N·m tightening torque requirement.

Typical Applications

  • EV & Hybrid‑EV high‑voltage drive‑power‑system protection
  • Supercapacitor module short‑circuit protection
  • Electric‑vehicle charging‑equipment DC protection
  • Rail transit, marine and new‑energy power‑electronics short‑circuit protection

Frequently Asked Questions

What is rated voltage of GFEVT750‑36 series?
This high‑speed automotive fuse is rated for 750Vdc, designed for DC‑only circuits, not intended for AC‑system usage.

What current ratings are available?
25A,32A,40A,50A,63A,80A,100A,125A,160A,200A,225A,250A,315A;350A & 400A are special‑order models.

What is its interrupting capacity and fuse class?
Interrupting capacity:50kA@750Vdc(L/R ≤2±1ms); fuse class aR; minimum breaking current>3 In.

What standards and certifications apply?
Designed per UL248‑1,UL248‑13 & IEC 60269‑1,IEC60269‑4; RoHS‑compliant; REACH declaration can be supplied upon request.

What is the installation torque requirement?
Recommended tightening torque: 11.0±1.0 N·m for bolt terminals.

What is the rule for continuous‑current selection?
Keep continuous working current ≤ 75% of fuse rated‑ampere under‑5℃~40℃ standard ambient.

Must I derate for high‑temperature or high‑altitude?
Yes. Above 40℃ apply temperature‑derating Kt. For closed‑box installation 2000‑4500 m altitude derate 2‑5% /1000 m; open‑air application generally skips altitude‑derating.

Can I install this fuse horizontally or inclined?
Vertical, horizontal and inclined mounting are allowed. Prevent gravity and vibration from degrading spring‑contact electrical connections.

What are main target‑applications?
EV/HEV drive‑system, supercapacitor module, EV‑charging equipment, rail transit and marine DC short‑circuit protection.

Can I replace the fuse under live‑load?
Do NOT replace fuse while carrying live‑load unless a matched fuse‑disconnector switch assembly is implemented.

What are the storage conditions?
Store in original package:‑40℃~+85℃, RH ≤70% at 40℃, dust‑free warehouse environment.
