The relationship between power factor and time constant of fuses in circuits
The inductance size of a circuit is related to the power and time constant. In circuits with high inductance, when there is abnormal current in the fuse, an arc voltage greater than the power supply voltage may occur, and the fuse may not be able to safely disconnect the current. The larger the inductance, the greater the arc energy generated by the fuse. If the fuse cannot withstand arc energy, it will be damaged.
