The “full range” of high-speed fuses refers to the ability of fuses to disconnect when the rated current
value exceeds the current protection, reaching the rated breaking capacity. Full range fuses can be used
for overload and overcurrent protection. Because they can prevent short circuit (fault) current and
overload. Low voltage fuses with full range capacity are also known as “g fuses” and are labeled with the
letter “g”.
