2H38L Fast DC Fuse (200A–500A) 250V / 300V Automatic fuse
1. Purpose and Use
The 2H38L series fuse is suitable for rated DC voltage up to 250V (max 300V), and rated current from 200A to 500A. Breaking capacity: 10kA. It is widely used in chargers, power supplies, vehicle batteries, vehicle circuit systems, and inverter protection. It offers strong current limiting, large breaking capacity, and fast short-circuit response. It withstands temperature, mechanical, current, and chemical shocks. Standards: ISO 8820, JASO D622, GB/T31465.
2. Normal Working Conditions
Ambient temperature for operation: -5℃ to +40℃. Allowable conditions: -40℃ to +125℃.
3. Use Category
Full-range fast fuse (gR).
4. Structural Characteristics
The fuse tube is made of high-temperature ceramic material with strong hardness and flame retardancy. The melt is 99.99% pure silver with a variable cross-section, sealed in high-purity quartz sand and arc-extinguishing chemicals. Silver-plated contact surfaces ensure excellent conductivity and lower temperature rise. Both ends of the melt are spot-welded to the contacts for safe and reliable short-circuit fault interruption.
5. Agreed Current and Time
Note: Customer-specific agreed current/time values can be discussed.
| Test Current (A) | Fusing Time (s) | |
|---|---|---|
| Min | Max | |
| 1.1In | 14400 | – |
| 2In | 1 | 300 |
| 3In | 0.2 | 30 |
| 5In | 0.05 | 1 |
Note: Fuse characteristics vary with environment and application design. All values are rated at 25℃.
